Our Story
Tautai Foundation was founded by Joe Macatiag with a commitment to empowering Pacific Islander youth through culture, mentorship, leadership, and opportunity.
The word Tautai represents a navigator—someone who understands where they come from, recognizes the environment around them, and charts a purposeful course forward.
Our work helps young people strengthen their cultural identity, develop leadership skills, connect with mentors, pursue educational and athletic opportunities, and discover their ability to positively influence their families and communities.
We Don’t Drift. We Navigate.
